Nokia N97 Mini – Small Is Beautiful

The Nokia N97 mini is the newest entry in the army of Nokia. Very much true to its name, this latest handset claims to offer features of its bigger counterpart in miniature form. Despite featuring a host of ground-breaking specifications, the bigger version of Nokia N97 mini failed to pull vast mobile geeks due to outrageous price tag. No matter, whether the price justices with huge internal memory space, larger display etc. and the like. To bridge the gap between masses of mobile geeks and feature loaded Nokia N97 mini, Nokia has downsized its size to bring best of Nokia world in ‘mini’ version of N97 in Nokia N97 mini.

The Nokia N97 Mini has been reduced in prices and body sizes making the intolerably bulky body size into compact handy size that results in a lighter weight (138g), smaller display (3.2”), smaller battery (1200 mAh from 1500 mAh). The Nokia N97 mini features smaller onboard memory (8GB instead of 32GB) that is extendible up to 16GB.

The small is indeed beautiful – the Nokia N97 mini features digital compass, 5 MP, 2592x1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual LED flash, video light, geo-tagging, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.0, Web browser has full Flash and Java support, Office document viewer, 16M-color resistive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution, Symbian OS 9.4 with S60 5th edition UI with kinetic scrolling, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and TV-out, Built-in accelerometer etc.
